The FireWolves used their second draft pick of the 2023 NLL Entry Draft to choose the Milton, ON native. Volkov is a big athletic defender with a ton of upside who helped the Burlington Blaze win the 2023 Minto Cup. He will be a great addition to the already solid FireWolves defense.
